Burrrr…

I love cold weather and all that is associated with it. The crisp air. I especially love the snow. It blankets everything and it looks pristine. The quiet, oh my, the quiet is priceless. It’s like you are transported into peaceful fairytale wonderland.

The foods of cold weather warm you inside out. Delish soups of all kinds and breads to dip in the soup. I love the smell of the house during the chilly time of the year. It’s so inviting. It pulls you in and begs you to stay for a spell. Hot coffees and hot cocoa are like warm hugs.

The clothes of cold weather are my favorite. Snuggly sweaters, mittens, fun boots, and classy coats just to name a few bring a smile to my face. These are not really clothes, but still warm and captivating are the blankets. I like the really soft and furry ones. I just nestle in – well until I get too warm, but the thought is alluring anyway!

The final thing I like about the cold is that you can always get warm. Pile on more clothes. Drink hot coffee. Snuggle in that luxurious blanket. However, you can never take off enough to be cool when it is hot. Yuck – that’s not my cup of tea – at all! Cold weather makes me happy!
