What’s the most fun way to exercise?

Exercise and I are not on speaking terms. I don’t like it. I realize I probably should, but it’s one of those things that I can do without and not feel bad about it. I do enjoy walking outside with the breeze in my face and the sounds of nature all around. It’s even better if there is a body of water close, but that’s about the extent of my exercise.

However, there was another time I did enjoy exercise and that is when I had the Wii system. Funny story – I was messing around with eBay years ago, just seeing why all the hype. Well, I got sucked in. I was in a bidding war with people to buy this brand new Wii unit and games. The price started out low so, I wasn’t to concerned if I won. It was fast paced and exciting. I think I might even bid against myself once – ok maybe twice. Still, I wasn’t concerned. I was getting tired at this point and just wanted to stop. So, I did a daring thing. The bid was at $175.00. I bid $200.00 and won the bidding war. I was now a proud of owner of this brand new Wii gaming unit.

Actually, I was in shock. Now, I had to tell my husband that I just spent $200.00 on a Wii. So, thinking quick on my feet – I said it was a great way to get in some exercise and give our boys a new game to play. I emphasized the exercise aspect – so when it came I was obligated to go through with it. Honestly, if I had to exercise – it was fun this way and I actually was pretty faithful to it – well for a while. Eventually, I grew tired of it and so did my boys. So, I sold it. However, now all these years later – I sure wish I had another one. I would exercise with it. Not going into a bidding war ever again. I’m not very good at it – obviously!

So, in closing, I will just exercise my mind. That doesn’t usually hurt very much. Haha! Believe it or not, exercising ones mind is very beneficial and will help in all other aspects of your life. Get out there and do some mind push-ups!
