No one can change that
Minutes move into hours, and hours to days
Before we know, a lifetime has passed
A smile shared
Helping hands make someone’s load a bit lighter
Warm hugs to assure the weary
Listening ears to validate others
Our legacy is the only thing we can affect
By the things we say and do
Time waits for no one,
