Who Am I

Do you know me
Sure you know my name,
You may even know from whence I came.
But do you really know me

Parts of me are hidden deep within,
Out of sight of all men.
Secret thoughts and dreams
And even a few schemes.
But do you really know me

Some days I wear so many hats
Juggling is for the acrobats.
I begin to wonder…
Do I know who I am

Searching,
Seeking,
Grasping for an answer.
Then I am gently reminded
That I am known,
My Heavenly Father knows me.
He knew me in my mothers womb
And He loved me all the way to the tomb.

He knows me by name,
And still loves me the same.
He hears my inward thoughts,
And with His blood I was bought.
He sees my tomorrows,
With all of their sorrows.

For me a blueprint, a design,
Has been constructed.
There is a purpose–a plan
Ordained by the Creator, Himself.
I’m someone special.
I now know who I am…
I am a child of the King.
