This is a very easy question to write about. I want to be a published author with jobs in the wing. I don’t want to be famous – not by any means. However, I do want people to read my works. The ideas, the encouragement, and the life lessons are here to be shared.
However, there is a part of me that feels inadequate to even image my works being out there for people to tear apart with their words. That does cause me anxiety. On the other hand, if I want it to be read obviously it has to be put out there for the public to read.
The next and largest hurdle is how to get it out there without paying a premium to have it self-published. I wish there was an easier way for new authors to get noticed. It unfortunately is like everything else in this world – you have to know the right people. I don’t know any of the right people to get noticed. I write on here – people do read – I appreciate that – but I need this to go to the next step. I’m just not sure how to get there. Any advice would be welcomed.
