My most ideal day -Hummm!

That will be difficult to articulate since I have so many different scenarios playing through my mind. I’ll just list a few and then maybe one day I can experience one or more of them.

  1. I’d love a day where I could put on my music and have the energy to clean my house completely. This includes walls, cupboards, windows, curtains, dressers, and even closets. I would love the feeling of total accomplishment.
  2. I’d love a day where my mind was clear and I could go to a coffee shop and drink hot coffee and write till my heart was content.
  3. I’d love a day where I could spend the day in my jammies and binge watch tv shows and have all my favorite foods at my beckon call.
  4. I’d love a day with my grandchildren baking, singing, swimming, and doing art projects.
  5. I’d love a day with my love doing whatever we wanted – no agendas or timelines – just being together enjoying the time.

As I look at this list, I realize that none of them are very far out of reach. I am a simple woman, and I don’t really require much. I guess I must admit that my life is good, and I do get to do what I want to do most of the time. When you think about it – most of us live the life we want. The biggest problem occurs when we get selfish and greedy. Then we start feeling sorry for ourselves and nothing is ever good enough. We need to be thankful for what we have and then be overjoyed when something really good happens. I think we all would see a big difference in our world if everyone could just learn to be content!
