Winter Has Arrived – Here – Finally!

I know that I might be a bit repetitive about the fact that I love snow, but I just have to say it again…I Love Snow. I can hear all of you naysayers out there – I realize that with any kind of weather that there are two sides. The loves and the loveless. However, for this post I am focusing on the positive attributes of snow.

I woke up to a literal Winter Wonderland. The trees are laden with snow. Every branch looks like it was painstakingly adorned with the white fluffy goodness. You can’t see the difference of where sidewalk starts or grass ends. It’s just one big, beautiful blanket spread out as far as the eye can see. It’s simply glorious.

Snow invokes the most delightful feelings. It is sheer joy and child-like excitement. I absolutely love the silence as you walk out in the snow. The only thing you hear is the crunch of the snow beneath your feet. I adore the cozy clothes that you get to wear. The hot coffee and hot chocolate filled with squishy marshmallows.

I just found out that we are about to get the third snowstorm late tonight or early in the morning. I’m as giddy as a school kid waiting to hear if school has been closed. Be prepared. Stay off the roads and snuggle up with the one you love. Sounds like a lovely thing to me.
