What is one word that describes you?
Just like everyone else that has answered this prompt – only one word is difficult at best to describe a complex human being. However, if you boil it all down and look at the overview of my life; I would say without a doubt – Encourager. It is who I am – inside and out. I can’t even hold it back. It spills out of me like a river of caring. I wouldn’t want to stop it either. I love to see the look on people’s faces when I give them a word of encouragement. I’ll even go up to complete strangers at the stores, airports, restaurants, even church and give them a word of encouragement. I’m compelled to do this, but I reap such joy at their response.
What a wonderful mission to try to lighten someone’s day. Every single one of us carry such baggage that we forget to smile, to make eye contact, to enjoy life. My encouragement to you today would be – make someone smile and see how it makes you feel. I believe with every smile (though it may be small) can brighten even the darkest days! What are you waiting for – go spread smiles!!!
