Learning New Things … At A Senior Age!

What is the last thing you learned?

Learning new things is always an exciting adventure. Well, at least I think so! The last thing I have learned is to work with two computer screens, and a new leasing program for my job. Now, I have never had a desk job. I’ve been a retail lady most of my life. I loved the interaction with the people, but so over the politics of retail. I’ve had my new job for about a year now and the whole concept of a desk job has been a new learning curve for sure. However, I must say I love it. I still get to mingle. I still get to sell. So all is good.

This new program. I believe it might be alive. It is intuitive. So, if I make a mistake – and I do – it tells me that its wrong. It give suggestions on how to fix my mess. If I follow its direction – well, it works. It’s crazy. I must say that I’m pleased to announce, I believe I’m getting the hang of it. We still fuss on occasion, but for the most part, we are becoming quite chummy.

Learning new things is always a good thing. How must one continue to grow if they are never pushing the limits of their knowledge. Just because the roof is getting gray – doesn’t mean I can’t learn new things. It just make take a bit longer. Haha!
