I Suppose the Word… “Luck”

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

I have never liked the word “luck” – it gives the impression that everything that happens to us is a matter of chance. It can be a good or bad thing. My steps are ordered. There is a plan. No chance involved. For example: if I choose to put my hand on a hot stove – I’m going to get burnt. It wasn’t bad luck, but a bad idea. If I pay my electric bill and have power – it’s not good luck, but wise planning. Now things can happen that seem to come out of left field and we don’t understand. I call those blessings. As you walk through your day – see how many times you say “luck” and why are you saying it? I choose to think my steps are known and I’m guided daily. This brings me joy!
