Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

Choosing my favorite pair of shoes is a difficult task, to say the least. First, I am really hard on shoes. They don’t last long – or I tire of them. However, my very favorite pair of shoes were a pair of black flip-flops that were be-dazzled. They were super comfy and I wore them everywhere. They were easy to slip on and looked good with everything. I wore them to the grocery store. I wore them to see my grandkids. I wore them to Disney World, and I wore them in an airplane. I wore them to hike in the Smoky Mountains. I literally wore them everyday – except work. Finally, my husband decided they were ready for the big trash heap in the sky – or the dumpster. It was a sad day. Isn’t it funny how we attach an emotional connection with inanimate objects. I guess just another part of our humanity.
