I just cleaned my glasses, because the very thing that is supposed to help me see wasn’t working. The prescription didn’t change. The glass still sits in the frames. The only difference is that the lenes were dirty.
Oh, my goodness, we walk around every day with our moral compass filthy. This dirt clouds our perception, and we don’t see what is happening. We don’t know how we should respond. Going on in this hazy state is going to cause us problems as well as others that cross our path. We will say things that will cause grief and pain to others. We will react in a completely wrong way due to our near blindness. So how do we get this situation under control? The fix is as easy as cleaning off my glasses. I applied the cleaning solution and wiped them until clean. Now, obviously we can’t literally spay cleaning solution on ourselves to help restore clarity.
The only fix for clouded, dirty sight is to have a little talk with your maker Only a prayer of forgiveness can give you a fresh, clean vision. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to walk around with dirty glasses – just clean them. It’s the same with the spiritual vision – keep your heart clean. Things look so much better when you can see clearly!
