He Chose Me

I have learned a valuable lesson
It was not direct
It came in from the back door
My guard was down
I was enjoying the moment
And
It hit me
God doesn’t need me
He created the Heavens and the Earth without me
He hung the moon, the stars, and the sun without me
He breathed life into Adam without me
Life began and is without me
Then something miraculous happened
Jesus, God’s Son, looked down from the portals of Heaven
He saw me
He loved me
He left splendor
He was borne as a babe
He grew
He preached
He saw my helpless plight
He died and rose again
Because He Chose Me!
I must always remember…
I am not needed…He can do it without me
But I am so blessed…Because He chooses to use me!
