It’s a brand new day…
With no scratches or scribbles
And no mistakes.
My slate is clean.
Wonder what my Jesus will write upon me today?
I’m excited to see,
What picture there will be.
He will choose what is created,
But I can choose the colors.
I want yellow today…
Bright, sunny and happy.
And green would be nice…
Growing in knowledge.
Finally blue…
Warm, and loving…
Just like a snuggly blanket.
