Can’t I just sleep for one more hour,
the sun is too bright
Just pull the blinds for spots I will see,
burying my head into the pillow for protection
This bed is like a cloud,
so soft and warm
Did I set the coffee maker to start,
no one speak to me till the nectar I have sipped
Day turns to night and sleep bids me come…
Shower is finished,
washed from the grim of the day
Comfy pajamas embrace like a hug,
in between the covers my body relaxes
Mind running wildly at the thought of life’s race,
no use fighting any more
Sleep come quickly,
Tomorrow. Is. Another. Day.
